How does the LED therapy treatment work?
During the treatment, the patient lies comfortably on a treatment couch. Their eyes are protected with special eye shields or goggles.
Before the session begins, make-up is removed and the skin is thoroughly cleansed. Superficial exfoliation is carried out using a special mask, a cold hydrogenation concentrate, ultrasonic peeling or diamond microdermabrasion, which removes dead skin cells.
Using a handpiece or a special arch-shaped mask (depending on the device), the skin is stimulated for 20–30 minutes. At the end of the session, a toner and a finishing cream, or an alginate or plaster mask, are applied to the skin to enhance the overall effect.
The optimal frequency is twice a week. The course consists of 3–6 sessions. It can be used throughout the year, in any season. It is particularly in demand between November and March.
What results does the patient achieve from LED therapy?
The device’s LEDs emit waves that stimulate the production of biochemical substances and biological processes in the body. Inflammation and redness of the skin are noticeably reduced, and the skin becomes more supple and fresh. The skin’s blood vessels undergo significant changes. The appearance of acne and the visibility of pigmentation spots are reduced. The body’s cells receive a boost of energy, and their overall metabolism improves. The procedure provides a feeling of complete relaxation.
The effect of the light is cumulative, so the benefits of LED therapy build up gradually. This has a positive impact on the patient’s well-being, health and appearance.
