How is laser treatment for vascular conditions carried out?
Following an initial consultation, the doctor selects the appropriate technique and schedules the date and time of the procedure. Before the procedure begins, they calibrate the equipment specifically for the patient’s blood vessels, setting the wavelength’s length and penetration depth. The treatment area is cleansed of any make-up and treated with an antiseptic.
Once the laser system is activated, the beam is directed onto the skin. The treatment takes approximately 10–30 minutes. The duration depends on the size of the treatment area and the type of vascular lesion. After the procedure, a light moisturising and soothing cream is applied to the skin.
Results of the procedure
A diode laser not only removes skin imperfections but also rejuvenates the skin.
The skin in the area where the blood vessels have been removed remains clean and undamaged, becoming firmer, more elastic and looking better cared for.
We use a new generation of diode lasers for blood vessels with a wavelength of 980 nanometres. This provides intradermal penetration to a depth of up to 10 mm. Such equipment and technology guarantee the best results. Using the laser, the procedure for removing blood vessels can be performed on both the legs and the face.
